So when you watch the video, it'll do this: "Hi! How" - "are you doing" - "today?" It can't recognize natural breaks in speaking to make the captions actually legible. The separation of the subtitles is at random. It will transcribe the audio and convert it into titles - essentially an auto-captioner.ġ. I am one person, trying to make a tool for creators like myself. I am not a team of hundreds, or even multiple people. I have been in the middle of a very major job switch here, so handling support has fallen behind. Save yourself the time and frustration and look for a different captioning app. Not only does the app fail to deliver on its promises, but the lack of support and responsiveness from the creators is unacceptable. Overall, I would not recommend Captiontor to anyone looking for a reliable app to caption their videos. It's clear that they don't care about their customers or improving their app. I sent multiple emails, but never received a single response. When I tried to contact the app creators to resolve the issue, they were completely unresponsive. Despite numerous attempts, the app failed to caption my video, leaving me frustrated and disappointed.īut that's not even the worst part. I recently downloaded the Captiontor app to help me add captions to my videos, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete waste of time. ![]()
